Our Story

Where the Vision became a Mission

ENAAL Youth began in 2007 in the refugee settlement of Agioi Anargyroi in Larnaca, when a small group of young people who loved football decided to create their own team. Under the name ENAAL (Union of Young Agioi Anargyri Larnaca), this initiative was born from the desire of young people to play sports, work together, and spend their time in a positive and creative way.
Gradually, more and more young people joined the team. Football became the starting point for building a strong youth community, offering a healthy environment that helped keep young people away from negative influences, harmful habits, and addictions. Although it was an amateur football team with its ups and downs, the initiative always kept young people and their positive development at its core.
Over the years, ENAAL also created football academies for a period of time, bringing even more children closer to sports and strengthening the spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
In 2019, the organization took an important new step by expanding its activities beyond sports and starting its involvement in Erasmus+ programs. Through these programs, it began offering young people opportunities for education, international exchanges, and intercultural cooperation.
The COVID-19 pandemic initially delayed the development of these programs. However, with persistence and dedication, ENAAL continued its journey, gradually evolving into an organization that today creates opportunities for young people through education, volunteering, and international cooperation.
From a small group with a shared vision, ENAAL has grown into an active youth community that continues to inspire, connect, and create meaningful initiatives for the future.
