A total of forty young people from nine European countries participated in the educational seminar titled “FREEDOM”, as part of the Erasmus+ programme, organized by Youth ENAAL in Pervolia from April 9 to April 17. Participants included youth and youth workers from Spain, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, North Macedonia, and Cyprus, and the seminar aimed to foster a culture of peace through learning and the values of the EU, such as solidarity and equality.
During the seminar, various workshops, lectures, discussions, and presentations were held to strengthen youth participation in public life, address conflicts, and promote peace-building activities.
The seminar took place in Cyprus, a country that has been deeply affected by intercommunal disturbances, wars, and hostilities.
The announcement emphasized that Erasmus+ is the EU programme supporting education, training, youth, and sport in Europe, offering opportunities for Europeans to study, train, cooperate, teach, and gain international experience.
