The Youth ENAAL organized the international youth exchange “One of Us” from March 14 to 22, 2025, in Pervolia Larnaca, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
During the project, participants took part in lectures, experiential workshops, group discussions, non-formal learning activities, and educational games, while each country presented elements of its culture, cuisine, traditions, education, and art, giving participants the opportunity to discover new cultures and traditions. Educational visits were also organized to cultural monuments, historical sites, and natural attractions of Cyprus.
At the same time, participants were sensitized to issues related to refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants, interacting with both staff members of refugee reception facilities and refugees themselves.
Through the programme, they exchanged experiences, challenged stereotypes and prejudices, learned how to address fear, racism, and xenophobia, promoted the values of democracy and respect for human rights, proposed ideas and solutions related to the refugee issue, developed strategies to support their local communities, became familiar with non-formal and experiential learning methods, and improved their communication skills, while also learning about the objectives and values of the Erasmus+ Programme.
