A total of sixty young people from six European countries participated in the international youth exchange titled “Livin’ on a Prayer,” implemented by Youth ENAAL with the aim of increasing youth employability and reducing unemployment.
According to the organization’s announcement, the participants came from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, and Spain, while the exchange, funded by the European Erasmus+ programme, took place in Pervolia between March 8 and March 15.
The main objectives of the educational programme were the exchange of practices from each country regarding entrepreneurship, the development and sharing of skills among young people in creating business plans, and raising awareness among youth about social entrepreneurship.
Within the framework of the programme, participants had the opportunity to observe practical examples of social economy initiatives, learn about effective job-seeking practices, become familiar with available funding programmes, and understand what employers are looking for, while also receiving important information about career development.
At the same time, the project aimed to encourage the active participation of young people in public life and their involvement in youth entrepreneurship and green development initiatives.
Participants also worked on the theme of social entrepreneurship with the goal of strengthening their skills and encouraging them to undertake entrepreneurial initiatives in the future for the benefit of their local communities.
